These terms govern your use of the Gimbaran website at gimbaran.com and the way you request information, appointments, plans, and email notes. They are a contract between you and Gimbaran for the website and for enquiries. Hands-on senior healthcare, once you accept it, is also described in a written care agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms on a clinical or fee point, the care agreement wins for that service. These terms still govern the website.
Please read them. Using the site, sending a form, or asking us to begin care means you accept them. If you are enquiring for an older adult, you agree that you have the authority to share what you send and to receive a reply.
Gimbaran provides senior healthcare: geriatric review, heart and memory support, rehabilitation, comfort-focused care, mobility advice, companionship, meals, household help, escorted outings, and wellness gatherings, according to the plan you choose. The website explains those services. It does not itself deliver medical care. A form confirmation on your screen is not a booking until a coordinator confirms it by email.
We design services for later life. We may decline a request that needs a different setting, such as acute emergency treatment, inpatient surgery, or care for a child. We will say so plainly rather than stretch a senior-care plan into work it cannot do safely.
Gimbaran is planned care during published hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 6:00, unless a care agreement states a different pattern. The website, the appointment form, and the care-desk email are not monitored as an emergency line. If a person has chest pain, severe breathlessness, uncontrolled bleeding, a new inability to speak or stand, a serious fall with injury, or any other emergency, contact local emergency services immediately. Do not wait for a reply to a form.
After an emergency, we are glad to help with recovery planning. That help starts when someone is stable enough for a scheduled review, not in the middle of the crisis.
Appointment requests must include a name, a valid email, a date that is today or later, a care focus, and enough description for us to prepare. The page checks those fields before it shows a thank-you message. That message means the page accepted the entries on your device. It does not mean a clinician is already reserved.
We confirm by email when a time is held. Please arrive with medicines, glasses, hearing aids, and the walking aid used most days. If you need to cancel, email us as early as you can so another family can use the time. Repeated missed visits without notice may require a new request rather than an open hold on the calendar.
You may express a preference for a named clinician. We honor it when that person has time and is the right focus. If they are away, we offer a colleague rather than delaying care that should not wait.
The Pricing page describes three monthly guides: Companion, Assisted, and Comprehensive. Numbers there are guides. Your care agreement states the fee, what is included, and the visit pattern. Outside hospital charges, imaging, pharmacy medicines, and specialists who are not part of Gimbaran are not included unless the agreement says they are.
You may move between plans as needs change. We ask for notice so companions and clinicians can adjust their week. Unused visits do not become a cash balance. Pausing for a hospital stay or travel is available with fourteen days’ email notice unless the care agreement sets another rule.
Fees are discussed and confirmed in the agreement. We do not take payment through this static website. No card number should be typed into a Gimbaran web form. If anyone claiming to be Gimbaran asks for payment credentials on a form that looks like this site, do not send them and email care@gimbaran.com so we can warn others.
Clinicians and companions exercise professional judgment. They may recommend a different plan from the one you first requested, decline a intervention they believe is unsafe, or ask for another clinician’s opinion. You may decline a recommendation. We will explain the risk of declining, especially around falls, medicines, and missed meals, and we will record that the decision was yours or your authorized decision-maker’s.
Companions observe and support. They do not independently change prescribed medicines, hide medicine in food, or diagnose. Observations are reported to the clinical team. Families should not ask a companion to act outside that boundary. Asking does not create a duty to comply.
You agree to:
If you share another person’s health story, you are responsible for having a proper basis to do so. We may pause an enquiry until permission is clear.
Articles, daily schedules, and gathering descriptions are for general education and orientation. They are not a diagnosis, a prescription, or a promise that a particular outcome will occur for a particular person. Senior health is individual. A suggestion that helps one reader’s appetite or sleep may be wrong for someone with a different condition.
We try to keep the site accurate and to review clinical articles when practice changes. We do not warrant that every page is complete or current on the day you read it. For a decision about your own care or a relative’s care, use a confirmed appointment rather than an article alone.
The Gimbaran name, logo, page design, articles, and photographs we commission or license are protected. You may share links to our pages and you may quote a short passage with credit for personal or family discussion. You may not copy the site into another commercial template, resell our articles, or use the logo as if you were Gimbaran.
Photographs of care scenes are used to illustrate senior healthcare. They are not a claim that every person shown is a current client. Do not copy them for your own advertising.
Forms on this website run in your browser. You agree not to submit automated rubbish, malicious code, or someone else’s email in order to harass them. A thank-you message appears only after the page’s own checks pass. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you type. If you submit a form by mistake, email care@gimbaran.com and we will disregard the request if no care relationship has started.
Because these pages do not run a back-end inbox, do not assume we have received a message solely because your browser showed a confirmation. For a matter that needs a human reply, also write to care@gimbaran.com or wait for the coordinator process described on the appointment page once that mailbox path is in use for your enquiry.
Wellness hours, balance mornings, dining tastings, and read-aloud circles are part of community life. Seats are limited. Reserving a place through an appointment request does not guarantee a seat until we confirm. We may change a date, a room, or a facilitator. We may ask someone to sit out a session if illness, unsafe footwear, or distress would put them or others at risk. That decision is about safety, not exclusion from care.
Family comments on the website reflect individual experiences. They are not a guarantee that you will see the same change in appetite, mood, mobility, or memory. Clinical examples in articles are composite teaching stories unless a full name and a specific consent are shown. You may not present our testimonials as your own reviews elsewhere.
Share buttons open services we do not control. Their terms apply once you are on their site. A link is not an endorsement of every page on that service. Clinicians outside Gimbaran whom you already see remain responsible for their own advice. We coordinate; we do not become them.
Our Privacy Policy explains how enquiry details, email notes, and, once care begins, health records are handled. It is part of these terms by reference. Questions about privacy can be sent to care@gimbaran.com with the subject “Privacy”.
The website is provided in good faith. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Clinical services are provided with reasonable care and skill by qualified staff. We do not promise a cure, a specific walking distance, a reversal of memory change, or that a person will be able to remain at home for a stated number of years. Those outcomes depend on health, the home itself, and choices made along the way.
Nothing on the site excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such an exclusion would be unlawful, or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Where the law allows a limit, Gimbaran’s total liability arising out of your use of the website, as distinct from hands-on care under a care agreement, is limited to the fees you paid us for website-related services in the previous three months, or nothing if you only browsed. We are not liable for lost profits, or for decisions you make solely from an article without a personal assessment.
Liability for clinical care is governed by the care agreement and by the duties that apply to healthcare providers. These website terms are not an attempt to shrink those duties.
If you misuse the site, submit information you had no right to share, or use our name and logo as if you represented Gimbaran, you will cover the reasonable losses and legal costs that misuse causes us, except to the extent we caused them ourselves. This section does not apply to a good-faith enquiry about care for a relative when you honestly believed you had permission.
You may stop using the website at any time. You may end a subscription on the unsubscribe page. Ending a newsletter subscription does not end a care plan. Ending a care plan requires the notice in your agreement, sent by email.
We may suspend website access or decline new requests if we reasonably believe the terms are being broken, if an enquiry is abusive, or if we must take the site down for maintenance or security. Existing clients will be told by email how to reach the care desk during a planned outage when we have their address.
We may update these terms as services evolve. The date at the top of the page will change. Material changes that affect an existing care agreement will be sent by email or discussed at a review before they apply to that agreement. New website use after an update is subject to the updated terms.
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement for use of the public website. They do not replace a signed care agreement, a clinician’s duty of care, or a specific consent you give for a treatment or for family updates. If a court finds one section unenforceable, the other sections remain.
Questions about these terms can be sent to care@gimbaran.com. Please use email. We do not publish a telephone number or a street address on this website, and we ask that terms enquiries follow the same path. Care-desk hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 6:00.
